The first stop on this years Drive took us to New York City where the doctors cooked fresh food and explored Essex Street food market. They highlighted ways that men could make smarter decisions in the foods that they not only buy, but cook at home.

The Drive for Men’s Health (D4MH) aims to increase awareness of men’s health issues and to encourage men to make their health a priority. Throughout the country, men are encouraged to be more active, eat healthier, get better sleep, quit smoking, and decrease stress. This year, the D4MH will be making stops at markets throughout the country to show people just how easy it can be to make fresh, nutritious and affordable meals, helping to make sure you feel better and maximize your health.

On Monday, June 4, from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon EST, the D4MH team will be partnering with Chefs Lauren Margolis and Amy Vu of Essex Street Market’s Fresh Bites Initiative. They will be on hand to help prepare and serve a sampling of a healthy, easy, and affordable meal.

Stop by to ask your health, fitness and nutrition questions!
