Drive For Men’s Health Press Release

Drive For Men’s Health – Read about it here!

What are you doing on June 12, 2014? Two global pioneers in the field of robotics assisted microsurgery medical technology are taking a 24-hour journey across country as a promotional campaign for men’s health. The event is called Drive for Men’s Health, and it will begin in Clermont, Central Florida at 8:30 am on June 12, ending in New York City at 8:30 am the following day.

Doctors on the Men’s Health Drive

Doctors Sijo Parekattil and Jamin Brahmbhatt will be taking turns at the wheel, driving a state-of-the-art electric Tesla S automobile, stopping periodically along the way to recharge the car’s battery and discuss men’s health issues. The entire trip can be viewed online via live streaming utilizing the new Google Glass technology.

The event is being sponsored by such wonderful organizations as the Florida Polytechnic University and South Lake Hospital in Central Florida. The money raised from the 1,100 mile journey will benefit a men’s health medical research study in the field of genetics and many individual scholarship programs in health and medical related fields of study at Florida Polytechnic.

Drive For Men’s Health Events

The doctors have also planned several fun events along the way, stopping to attend pre-scheduled activities and discussions with local communities. And what is making this trip particularly exciting is the doctors’ invitation to everyone around the world to follow them across country along the way. Besides watching the event via live streaming utilizing the new Google Glass technology, fans and enthusiasts of men’s health issues are encouraged to follow the doctor-driven Tesla S from Clermont to NYC in their own vehicle.

This event is being planned during National Men’s Health Week, which runs from June 9 to the 15th. The Tesla S will be stopping approximately every 150 to 200 miles to recharge its battery while the doctors promote awareness of men’s health issues.
