D4MH to Receive Recognition from Mayor of Clermont

Drive for Men’s Health to be Recognized with Proclamation from Mayor of City of Clermont

Clermont, Fla. (April 16, 2018) – June is recognized nationally as Men’s Health Month, and two Clermont-based doctors are continuing their tradition of bringing more awareness to men’s health issues with the fifth annual Drive for Men’s Health.

Just ahead of this year’s Drive, the Mayor of Clermont, Fla. will be recognizing Drs. Jamin Brahmbhatt and Sijo Parekattil, founders of the Drive for Men’s Health as well as the PUR Clinic, during the May 22 Clermont City Council meeting.

During this meeting, Mayor Gail L. Ash will sign a proclamation designating June as Men’s Health Month in Clermont and recognizing the Drive for Men’s Health for its efforts to raise awareness of men’s health issues worldwide.

In addition, Drs. Brahmbhatt and Parekattil will have the opportunity to give a 10-minute presentation to the crowd in attendance about the important work they are doing to elevate awareness among men and those who care about them regarding health issues.

Anyone interested in attending this City Council meeting can come to Clermont City Hall (685 W. Montrose St., Clermont, FL 34711) in the Council Chambers on the first floor of the building at 6:30 p.m. EST on Tuesday, May 22, 2018.

This year’s Drive for Men’s Health will occur June 1 – June 9, with a grand finale event in Lake County at the Clermont Waterfront parkrun on the morning of Saturday, June 9, 2018.
