Friday Night Lights: A fashion show benefiting the Drive for Men’s Health
We had such a blast at the “Friday Night Lights” fashion show in 2018 that we’re back at it again. Join the Drive for Men’s Health for an unforgettable fashion event, where local men and the physicians who helped save their lives walk the runway to share their inspiring stories while modeling some great fashion.

7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
The importance of staying active is one of the primary tenets of the Drive for Men’s Health. In our hometown of Clermont, we’ve once again partnered with Clermont ParkRun to enjoy a 5K in Lake County. If you want to participate, you’ll need to complete a one-time registration and bring the generated barcode with you on Saturday morning. Click here to register.
Located in western India, Ahmedabad is the largest city and former capital of the Indian state of Gujarat. We may be a little jet-lagged when we arrive, but that won’t stop the Drive for Men’s Health team from spreading the important messages we’ve come to relay. While we’re in Ahmedabad, we’ll rent a few rickshaws to take us around the city to meet men – and those who care about them – and engage with them, helping them to understand the importance of taking care of themselves now, so they’re around for their loved ones in the future.
We’re very excited about spending time in Ahmedabad, as this is the region of India where Dr. Brahmbhatt is from, and we’ll get to meet some of his friends and family here. While in Ahmedabad, our team will also take part in the wedding of our team member and drone videographer, Fenil Amin.
While the Drive for Men’s Health team is in India, we want to explore the National Capital Territory, home to the prominent India Gate landmark. In addition, we’re planning to head to nearby Agra to experience one of India’s best-known landmarks, the Taj Mahal.
While in this area, the Drive for Men’s Health Team will, of course, engage with men throughout the area, explaining ways that they can make their health a priority.
Having already visited the area of India from which Dr. Brahmbhatt hails, we’ll spend the second half of our time in the country exploring the region where Dr. Parekattil is from. Kerala, in southwestern India, is home to scenic backwaters, comprised of serene stretches of lakes, canals and lagoons located parallel to the coast of the Arabian Sea.
On our way back to the United States, we’ll be spending a day in Dubai, partnering with a local hospital to provide an educational and fun overview of men’s health issues and ways that men can combat common diseases.
How Can you Help
We want you to get involved! While we may be on the cross-continental trip, YOU are the driver of your own health! We’d love to see you at any of our planned stops during the 2019 drive, so please feel free to join us along the way. If you can’t make it to one of our events in person, please consider following along on our social media channels. If you’re interested in supporting the cause through a sponsorship or donation, please reach out to us by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 407-602-8428.
The Drive for Men’s Health is only as successful as the people we are able to reach with our message. That’s why we want YOU to be on our team! Yes, you!

Our friends at Trak Fertility have partnered with us to distribute this nutrition guide at our cooking demos throughout the U.S. If we don’t see you along the Drive this year, we want our website visitors to also have access to this information.
